TRICK QUESTION!! Ok, now that I think about it this is more of a statement than it is a question...
"They haven't always understood each other. But I do think that beneath some uncertainty and even distrust there is genuine affection."
Guess who said this?^ #disclosureproject
I'm sick of people pretend-shipping Isla with Siffrin. It's time to actually consider that they like each other in a special way. And if you look at the end of book 2 when Siffrin and Isla try to go to the Snowlands together, Isla forgives Siffrin, and she missed him, "more than she would like to admit". Isla and Siffrin bonded in a strange way, when they first met Siffrin was constantly rude and disrespectful, yet when they saw each other again he was so keen on apologizing to her for what happened. And Isla didn't forgive him at the time, she was still mad. But while Siffrin was walking Isla to the edge of the Elder Wood she started looking at him in a different way, a much different way.
You would have to be blind to think that they're still just friends. They are not. I won't be surprised by what will happen in book 3. AND I CAN'T BELIEVE I HAVE TO EXPLAIN IT LIKE THIS FOR YOU GUYS TO UNDERSTAND!!
If Isla is going to have a mate, that mate will be Siffrin.
